Niners are Looking for a handout

It looks like the 49er's plans to move to Santa Clara are about to hit a major roadblock. SC residents will not pay for a new stadium. They've already voted down bond measures to bring the Giants south. What makes the Niners think they'll do any better?

I guess the 49ers ran out of second chances when they finally let T.O. go because Antonio Bryant is out on his ass.

I'm a bit surprised they dropped him so easily. After all, when the DUI story first came out, it looked like just another pro athlete getting into trouble and then getting out of it. But for some reason, Bryant is being treated differently. Maybe the Niners want to send a message that the T.O.-style shenanigans will not be tolerated any more. You get out of line, you get off the team. Unless you score a lot of touchdowns of course.
